Today was my sweet niece Ava's 2nd Birthday party. Her Mommy put together a box city with Tunnels and ballons and it poured down rain, but did that stop us .....nope we stomped in the puddles and had a great time. Here is the layout I made for her Birthday photos. I used corrugated pieces to tie in the box city theme. This was a lot of fun. The cutouts were made with my Cricut Artbooking Cartridge from Close to my Heart. ( I know a good Close to my Heart Consultant if you need a cartridge.)

Baby book

I have been working on a baby book for my friend. This is the title page I love the new babycakes paper from Close to My Heart .

This is the Mommy and Daddy page there are pull outs behind the photos for journaling.

I wasn't sure about the family tree so I just made a page for a lot of family photos.

Again you see BabyCakes paper . This will have 5 photos on it.

Sweet dreams.

Tiny little finger prints and footprints go here.

This is for his first Birthday. Again you see the BabyCakes paper.
I hope to have it finished soon, just 7 more pages. I will post them when they are done.

Summertime Fun

I am super excited to finally get this blog going.I have so much to share I can't believe it is already July ! Hello July! One of my favorite months. It is time for swimming, Fourth of July, and my favorite homeade ice cream. Hope everyone is keeping it cool. Here is one of the challenges I have completed this summer, it even has new good times photos on it.
I love a good Scrapbooking Challenge but this one was 4x the fun, here it goes
Challenge 1- combine 1 or more challenges
Challenge 2- Use a product you have never used before
Challenge 3- Use the same photo more than once
Challenge 4- Scrapbook a Favorite.

Drum roll please.......Cheeto Love

I love how this turned out. In my family Cheetos are a required  favorite for a fishing trip...my girls devoured a whole bag before we ever got to the river. I love the Close to my Heart For Always paper, I colored it in with a Sunset Orange ink ( it was black and white ), and the feathers served as a product I had never scrapbooked with before. They added a lot of fun. I also love Thickers DIY, these are a must have for any glitter nut job -I know I am not the only one!  I also have to jump for joy because I love the new 4x4 prints from Walgreens. You can now print them straight from your Instagram account in true 4x4 format. Hopefully this fun layout will challenge to you to try out a challenge of your own.
